The Red Cross Net
This net is on every Thursday at 12:30 pm local time with check-ins from the official Red Cross stations including VE1RCX, Amherst, followed by check-ins from any amateur. Many repeaters are linked up throughout Nova Scotia including 145.350 Sugarloaf and also with links to New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. The net reaches Newfoundland by Echolink. After the 2 meter net is completed there is usually an HF net on 3.770 MHz. for anyone who can check in. Please feel free to check in to the net. It needs the support of the Amateur radio community.
